This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Sylvan Turgeon circa the late 1980’s while representing the Hartford Whalers. Turgeon was the 2nd overall selection in the 1983 NHL entry draft by the Whalers. He would skate on Hartford home ice for 6 seasons before moving onto New Jersey, Montreal and then Ottawa. As a rookie in 1983-84, Sylvain netted 40 goals and 72 points earning him all-rookie status. Another 40-goal season would follow, along with a couple of 30+ goal years as Sylvain continued on nearly a goal every 2 games pace for his first half dozen + years in the league. In 12 seasons, Turgeon compiled 269 goals and was named to the NHL All Star team in 1986.

This vintage and defunct offering is a real pleaser. Fine game use consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, washed out bloodstains, inner pilling, un-repaired burn holes and a handful of team-sewn repairs including a significant one on the front hem which jots up, over and down totaling a good 6 inches in length. Super offering from this defunct franchise.
