This home white knit gamer by CCM and Steichens was worn by goalie John Hyduke during his time playing in the WCHA at the University of Minnesota-Duluth circa 1985-89. The Los Angeles Kings selected Hyduke in the 8th round of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. This goalie never made the NHL and in fact turned to coaching shortly after graduating from UMD. Hyduke served as an Assistant for the University of Wisconsin Superior for a couple of seasons and later spent 4 years coaching with his alma mater.
The game wear on this size 50 sweater is solid and consists of numerous stick and puck marks, goal post paint transfer, stitch pops and pilling. Removed from the verso and lost to history is the nameplate. Sewn above the CCM logo on the rear right tail is a white rectangular patch.
