This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Herb Raglan circa the late 1980’s. Raglan spent the first 6 years of a 9 season NHL career with the St. Louis Blues. He played the role of enforcer for the Blues, Nordiques and Senators during his career racking up 775 PIMs in 343 games played. In 1987-88 with the Blues, Herb notched 190 PIMS, a career high.
Sewn to the left shoulder of this gamer is the Barclay Plager Memorial patch. The game use is heavy with numerous stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, washed out bloodstaining and inner pilling. The front of the collar shows a bunch of stitch pops from on ice fight abuse. The fight strap has lost the battle to salt and rust while the nameplate has been removed.
