Description
Late 1980's/Early 1990's Ray Bourque Bruins Practice Worn Jersey
Lot #179

This black knit practice jersey by CCM was worn by Hall of Fame defenseman Ray Bourque. Bourque is hockey’s all-time leading defenseman in goals with 410, assists with 1169 and points with 1579. He ranks 3rd in all-time NHL assists and 9th on the all-time NHL scoring list. He is 3rd in all-time playoff assists with 139 and he ranks 9th on the all-time playoff points list with 180. Ray was 18 times a 1st or 2nd team NHL All Star. His impressive collection of hardware includes a Calder Trophy as league’s top rookie, a King Clancy Memorial Trophy awarded to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution to his community, a Stanley Cup championship and 5 Norris Trophies as best defenseman in the NHL.

This is a well-used example of a practice worn jersey. It shows surprisingly good wear both inside and out, meaning Ray wore it extensively. This high quality practice gamer can be had at a fraction of the price of a regulation gamer and would fit proudly in any collection.
