This Sher-Wood PMP 5030 hockey stick was game used by Hall of Famer Larry Robinson while playing for the Montreal Canadiens. The Montreal Canadiens selected Robinson in the 1st round of the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft. Robinson enjoyed a 20-year NHL career and spent the first 17 of those seasons with Montreal, where he won an incredible 7 Stanley Cups. Robinson’s final 3 seasons were spent playing alongside Wayne Gretzky in Los Angeles. Larry was the 1978 Conn Smythe Trophy winner as playoff MVP and also captured 2 Norris Trophies as the NHL’s best defenseman. Robinson was 6-times a 1st or 2nd team NHL All Star on defense and was a regular participant in the NHL All Star Game throughout his 2-decade long career, playing in a total of 10 annual classics.

Larry also starred when the international spotlight was on, playing for Team Canada in 4 different Canada Cups, while also taking part in those memorable New Year’s Eve Super Series contests against the Soviets during the Cold War era. He is considered one of the game’s all-time greats and was so recognized in the now revered ‘The Hockey News” book that ranked the 50 greatest players in NHL history. Larry was honored as the 24th greatest player in NHL history in that publication. Following his playing days, Robinson added to his trophy case as he won the Stanley Cup as the New Jersey Devils head coach in 2000. In 1384 games played, Larry scored 208 goals and added 750 assists for a total of 958 points. His remarkable career also saw Larry partake in 227 playoff games where he added another 144 points.

This Sher-Wood stick has the player name and number “Robinson 19” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. Larry has added a personalized autograph to the side. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
