This white Titan TPM4000 hockey stick was game used by Hall of Famer Lanny McDonald while playing for the Calgary Flames. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected McDonald with the 4th overall pick in the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft. Lanny began what would become a Hall of Fame career with the Leafs that same year. He spent his first 6+ seasons in Toronto where he established himself as one of the game’s true superstars. A trade midway thru the 1979-80 season sent Lanny to Colorado where he remained for parts of 3 years prior to joining the Calgary Flames. McDonald played out his career with the Flames, which spanned 8 years and saw him lead his club to a pair of Stanley Cup Finals. Lanny’s final NHL game saw him proudly hoist his 1st Stanley Cup as the Flames defeated the Montreal Canadiens in the 1989 Stanley Cup Finals, the first in franchise history.

Lanny scored exactly 500 goals and 1006 points during his career. His career best 66 goals came with the Flames during the 1982-83 season, which is also a franchise record. Lanny also strung together 4-consecutive 40+ goal campaigns in the late 1970’s where he starred with the Maple Leafs playing alongside fellow Hall of Famer Darryl Sittler. McDonald was twice a 2nd Team NHL All Star, was a 4-time NHL All Star game participant, played in the 1979 Challenge Cup against the Russians and was on the celebrated 1976 Canada Cup team that proved victorious against the Czechs in the Finals. Also on the mantel are the 1983 Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, the 1988 King Clancy Memorial Trophy and the 1989 Bud Man of the Year Award.

This white Titan hockey stick has the player name “L. McDonald” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It is date stamped “AVR 6 1984”. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition. A beautiful stick brought to you directly from the personal collection of Terrence Murphy, choice!
