During that time Kris won 4 Stanley Cup titles, the 2003-04 Frank J. Selke award as the leagues top defensive forward and represented team Canada in the World Cup of Hockey and the Olympics. Kris will forever be remembered as the man who took the vicious cheap shot from behind at the hands of the rival Colorado Avalanche’s winger Claude Lemieux during the 1996 playoffs.
