These black and white F 2000 hockey gloves by Vaughn were game worn by Kevin Dineen while playing for the Philadelphia Flyers during the 1993-94 season. The Hartford Whalers selected Dineen in the 3rd round of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. Dineen began his NHL career in 1984 with the Whalers, a franchise he called home for parts of 10 years in the league. A deal during the 1991-92 season sent Kevin to Philadelphia. He would remain with the Flyers into the 1995-96 season before being returned to Hartford. Kevin moved with the franchise to Carolina and spent 2 seasons with the Canes before 1-year in Ottawa and a final 3 in Columbus. All told Dineen played in parts of 19 different seasons, compiling 1188 games. He would net 355 goals and 2229 PIMS during that span. Kevin was twice a 40-goal man with a career best coming in 1988-89 in Hartford as he rang up 45. Kevin played in 2 NHL All Star games during his career and was the 1991 Bud Light NHL Man of the Year Award winner. Since retiring, Kevin spent 6 seasons behind the bench of the Portland Pirates where he led his team to 6-consecutive winning seasons and more recently as the Head Coach of the Florida Panthers into the 2013-14 season.
