This white Victoriaville Pro Vic hockey stick was game used by Kelly Hrudey while playing for the New York Islanders. Hrudey was drafted by the New York Islanders in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. After 3 seasons with the Islanders minor league affiliate in Indianapolis, Kelly joined the Isles during the 1983-84 season and played 6 seasons on Long Island. In 1988-89, Kelly joined the Los Angeles Kings and was their main man between the pipes for 8 years, leading them to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1992-93. He finished his career with 2 seasons in San Jose with the Sharks. Since retiring, Hrudey has been in the broadcast booth as a hockey analyst.
This white Victoriaville stick has the player name “K. Hrudey” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade although the blade tape is loose. Kelly has autographed the paddle “To Julian, Best Always your Friend”. There is also an autograph of Mario Gosselin. The stick is uncracked.
