Description
Keith Primeau Team Canada 1996 World Cup Cooper Game Worn Helmet - Autographed
Lot #357
This white hockey helmet by Cooper was game worn by Keith Primeau while playing in the 1996 World Cup for Team Canada. The Detroit Red Wings selected Primeau with the 3rd overall selection in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. He would spend 6 seasons with the Red Wings, which included a trip to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1995. Next up was Hartford and Carolina for 3 years before a final stay in Philadelphia, which lasted 6 seasons. Keith’s time in Philly was marred by injury, which caused a premature end to his career. Primeau partook in a couple of NHL All Star games and also represented Team Canada in the World Cup of Hockey and the Olympics. Primeau netted 30-goals on three different occasions and with better than 250 goals and 1500 PIMS Keith proved his versatility throughout his 15-year career.

This white Cooper helmet has the player number “55” on back. The Team Canada logo is on both sides of the back. The Cooper name has been replaced by the Bauer name on the front and right side. The left side Cooper name has been covered over by white tape. Keith has personally signed the helmet on the top although the autograph is faded.
