As a member of the Canadiens organization, McCreary played mostly in the minor leagues with the exception of 10 games in the NHL over the first 7 seasons of his career. He joined the expansion Pittsburgh Penguins for their inaugural season of 1967-68 and played with Pittsburgh for five seasons until he was claimed by the Atlanta Flames in the 1972 expansion draft becoming the Flames very first Captain. Keith scored 20+ goals 3 times in his NHL career with a high of 25 with the Penguins in 1968-69. McCreary died after a long bout with cancer on December 9, 2003, he was 63.

Our consignor went to a hockey game every night and had all autographs signed personally. The signature is in beautiful condition.
