GAMEWORNAUCTIONS.NET is pleased to present The Jonathan Bernier Collection. This exciting collection of game worn memorabilia comes directly from the personal collection of current Colorado Avalanche goaltender, Jonathan Bernier. A signed letter from Mr. Bernier will accompany your purchase.

This spectacular hand-painted goalie mask by CCM and Lefebvre was game worn by Jonathan Bernier during the 2016-17 NHL season. The Los Angeles Kings selected Bernier in the 1st round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. After spending 5 seasons as a member of the Kings where he won a Stanley Cup, Bernier joined the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2013-14. Jonathan started for 3 years with the Leafs and then joined the Anaheim Ducks for the 2016-17 season. While filling in for starting goalie John Gibson, Bernier played in 39 games, winning 21 of them against only 7 losses with a 2.50 GAA and .915 SV%. He went 13 straight games without a regulation loss heading into the 2017 Stanley Cup playoffs. Bernier was signed as an unrestricted free agent by the Colorado Avalanche on July 1, 2017.

This was Jonathan’s first Ducks mask, worn during the pre-season and the first couple of weeks or so of the regular season. This beautiful hand-painted creation by CCM and Lefebvre shows nice game use. This all-original example features complete inner padding, chin guard, straps and a hand-painted back plate. Two Lefebvre stickers are found on the inside including the one dating the mask to July 18, 2016. The top of the mask has a painted Lion with the angry Ducks logo on both sides. The player number “1” is painted on the chin with the Ducks logo again painted to both sides. Affixed to the back plate is a 100-year NHL sticker. Jonathan has signed the inside in blue sharpie. Shown above are some beautiful photo matches of Bernier wearing this exact mask during both the 2016-17 NHL regular and pre-season. This outstanding goalie mask and carrying case comes directly from The Jonathan Bernier Collection.
