This stunning hand-painted goalie mask by CCM and Lefebvre was used as a back up mask by Jhonas Enroth while playing for the Los Angeles Kings. The Buffalo Sabres selected Enroth in the 2nd round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. After playing a few seasons in Sweden, Enroth made his NHL debut with the Sabres in 2009-10. Jhonos spent parts of 6 seasons playing between the pipes in Buffalo before joining the Dallas Stars for a partial season. Enroth next suited up for the Los Angeles Kings and Toronto Maple Leafs, his final two NHL stops. He is currently playing in the KHL.
This beautiful hand-painted mask, created by CCM and Lefebvre, was Jhonas’ back up mask and as such we have not found any photos of him using it. Based on the lack of discernible use, we are not calling it game or practice worn. This beautiful back up mask and carrying case comes directly from The Jonathan Bernier Collection.
