Jeff Hackett Chicago Blackhawks Black Vaughn Game Worn Gloves Autographed The Michel Goulet Collection Michel Goulet Letter
Lot #258
GAMEWORNAUCTIONS.NET is pleased to present The Michel Goulet Collection. This exciting collection of game worn jerseys, game used sticks, game worn equipment and memorabilia come directly from the personal collection of Hockey Hall of Famer, Michel Goulet. Mr. Goulet personally collected and preserved these items over the course of his legendary NHL career. A signed letter from Mr. Goulet will accompany your purchase.

These black goalie blocker and catcher by Vaughn were game worn by Jeff Hackett while playing for the Chicago Blackhawks. The New York Islanders selected Hackett in the 2nd round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. Jeff broke onto the scene with the Islanders in 1988-89 and spent a couple of seasons with the team before joining the San Jose Sharks where he spent 2 more years. Hackett joined the Chicago Blackhawks in 1993-94 and spent the next 5+ seasons with the club. During that span, Jeff put up some terrific statistical seasons that included consecutive GAA’s of 2.38, 2.40, 2.16 and a 2.20 in 1997-98 while playing in a career best 58 games. Early in the 1998-99 season, the Hawks and Habs pulled off a blockbuster that had Hackett and Weinrich going to Montreal in exchange for Thibault and Manson. Jeff would spend most of the next 5 seasons with the Canadiens where, in his early years with the club, he continued his strong play between the pipes before eventually finishing his career with stints in Boston and Philadelphia.

These black Vaughn gloves have the player name “Hackett” stitched on the back. This fresh to the hobby example comes directly from the personal collection of Michel Goulet and will be accompanied by his signed LOA.
