This silver Easton Synergy was game used by 500-goal scorer Jarome Iginla. The Dallas Stars selected Iginla in the 1st round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. Before he ever suited up for the Stars, Jarome was dealt to the Calgary Flames in exchange for Joe Niewendyk. Having completed 16 NHL season, all with Calgary, this dynamic Right Wing continues to carve out a path towards the Hall of Fame. Iginla is a member of the 500-Goal club, and finished last season with better than 1000 points in his career. He has played in a handful of NHL All star games and has (3) 1st Team and (1) 2nd Team NHL All Star selections to his credit.
Jarome is a 2-time winner of the Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy and also has an Art Ross Trophy, A Lester B. Pearson Trophy, A King Clancy Memorial Trophy, a Mark Messier Leadership Award and an NHL Foundation Award on the mantel place. He is the Flames all-time leader in numerous categories including goals and points. On the international stage, Iginla has represented Team Canada in the World Cup of Hockey, the World Championships and 3 Olympics. Lest we forget, Jarome earned an assist on Sidney Crosby’s game-winning overtime goal in 2010 as Canada defeated Team USA and captured yet another Gold Medal.
The 2003-04 season was a special one for Iginla. His 41 goals earned him his 2nd Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy as the NHL’s goal scoring leader. He also won the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, the NHL Foundation Award, played in the NHL All Star game and was named 2nd Team NHL All Star.
