Janne Niinimaa New York Islanders Bauer Game Worn Helmet
Lot #508

This white hockey helmet by Bauer was game worn by Janne Niinimaa while playing for the New York Islanders. Niinimaa was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. After 3 seasons with Jokerit in Finland, Janne joined the Flyers for the 1996-97 season and took part in the Flyers Stanley Cup Finals run as a rookie. Niinimaa played 10 seasons in the NHL for the Flyers, Oilers, Islanders, Stars and Canadiens before returning to Europe in 2007-08.

This white Bauer helmet has the player number “44” on back. The Islanders logo is on both sides.
