This blue hockey helmet by CCM was game worn by Jack Huges while playing for the Colorado Rockies. Hughes was drafted by the Rockies in the 1977 NHL Entry Draft. After playing 3 years at Harvard University, Hughes joined Team USA for the 1980 Olympic Team. He played 49 games with the eventual Gold Medalists before being cut by the team just prior to Lake Placid. In the team photo above, taken before the final Olympic roster was finalized, Jack is player number 12. Jack went on to play in the CHL with the Fort Worth Texans and 46 NHL games over 2 seasons with the Rockies.
