This Sher-Wood goalie stick was game used by Ian Wilkie while playing for the 1972-73 New York Raiders. Wilkie was the 7th round selection of the Montreal Canadiens in the 1969 NHL Amateur draft. Although he never played in the NHL, he did play 2 seasons in the WHA. He first played in the 1972-73 for the Raiders and then 1973-74 for the L.A. Sharks and Edmonton Oilers.
This Sher-Wood goalie stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. The player name (Wiltie), which was misspelled, is stamped to the side.
