Description
Guy Carbonneau Montreal Canadiens White Canadien Game Used Stick - Autographed
Lot #665

This white Canadien 6001 hockey stick was game used by Guy Carbonneau while playing for the Montreal Canadiens. The Montreal Canadiens selected Carbonneau in the 3rd round of the 1979 NHL Entry Draft. Guy made his NHL debut in 1980-81 with Les Habitants and spent the first 13 years of his 19-year, 1318-game NHL career with Montreal. Following 2 Stanley Cup titles with the Canadiens, Carbonneau spent a season with the St. Louis Blues before joining the Dallas Stars where he spent the final 5 years of his storied career. During his final 2 years with the Stars, Carbonneau made back-to-back trips to the Stanley Cup Finals and skated away with his 3rd Stanley Cup ring. In the tradition of Bob Gainey before him, Carbonneau took over the reigns as the NHL’s best defensive forward and was so recognized with 3 Frank J. Selke Trophies spanning 1988 to 1992.

This white Canadien stick has the player name “Carbonnea” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. Guy has autographed the side in pen. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
