This brown Easton Aluminum Carbon hockey stick was game used by Gary Suter while playing for the Chicago Blackhawks. The Calgary Flames selected Suter in the 9th round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. After playing two seasons of college hockey at the University of Wisconsin, this Madison, WI native made his NHL debut in 1985-86 with Calgary. It was a magical year for Suter who won the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s Rookie of the Year and then went to the Stanley Cup Finals later that spring. Suter spent 9 seasons with the Flames and won a Stanley Cup in 1989. He joined the Chicago Blackhawks in 1993-94 and spent parts of five seasons with the club before wrapping up his career several years later with the San Jose Sharks. In a 17-year NHL career, Suter was selected to play in five NHL All Star Games and was named 2nd Team NHL All Star in 1987-88. On the international stage, Suter represented Team USA in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey, two Canada Cups and two Olympics. Suter was elected to the US Hockey Hall of Fame in 2011.

This brown Easton stick has the player number “20” under the butt. The stick is fully taped on the butt. The blade tape has been removed so Gary could autograph it. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition. This fresh to the hobby example comes directly from the personal collection of Michel Goulet and will be accompanied by his signed LOA.
