This Sher-Wood Pattern Pro hockey stick was game used by Ed Westfall while playing for the Boston Bruins during the 1970-71 NHL season. Westfall began his NHL career with the Boston Bruins in 1961-62. He remained with the Bruins for 11 years and won 2 Stanley Cups while playing alongside Orr, Espo and the rest of the gang before being chosen by the New York Islanders in the 1972 expansion draft. Westfall spent the final 7 years of his career with the Islanders where he provided a steadying influence and served as their team Captain from 1972-77. Eddie won the 1977 Bill Masterton Trophy and played in 4 NHL All Star games spanning 1971-75. Westfall was inducted into the Islanders Hall of Fame in 2011.

This Sher-Wood stick has the player number and name “18 Westfall” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It has been signed by 19 members and staff of the 1970-71 Bruins including Garnet "Ace" Bailey (d. 2001), Wayne Cashman, Ed Westfall, Phil Esposito, Bobby Orr, Ted Green, Derek Sanderson, Frosty Forrestal (d. 1995), Don Marcotte, Dallas Smith, Don Awrey, Wayne Carleton, Ken Hodge, John McKenzie, Fred Stanfield Mike Walton and Gerry Cheevers.

The signatures are in beautiful conditino while the stick is also in beautiful condition with the exception of 2 drill holes for display.
