Ed Westfall Boston Bruins Northland Game Used Stick
Lot #474

This Northland Custom Pro hockey stick was game used by Ed Westfall while playing for the Boston Bruins. Westfall began his NHL career with the Boston Bruins in 1961-62. He remained with the Bruins for 11 years and won 2 Stanley Cups while playing alongside Orr, Espo and the rest of the gang before being chosen by the New York Islanders in the 1972 expansion draft. Westfall spent the final 7 years of his career with the Islanders where he provided a steadying influence and served as their team Captain from 1972-77. Eddie won the 1977 Bill Masterton Trophy and played in 4 NHL All Star games spanning 1971-75. Westfall was inducted into the Islanders Hall of Fame in 2011.



This Northland stick has the player name “Westfall” stamped on the side. Also stamped on the side is the player number “18”. Other stamps include “Northlands Skis St. Paul, MN”, “Woody Dumart and Co. Needham Heights, Mass.” and “Boston”. Written in marker on the stick is the date “2/22/68”. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
