Early 1990ís Yan Kaminsky CCCP Soviet National Team Game Worn Jersey
Lot #114

This red air-knit gamer was worn by Yan Kaminsky while skating for the Soviet National Team prior to the break up of the Soviet Union in December, 1991. The Winnipeg Jets selected Kaminsky in the 5th round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. After playing for a lengthy period in his native Russia, Kaminsky made his NHL debut with the Winnipeg Jets in 1993-94. Soon after, Kaminsky joined the New York Islanders where he completed his brief NHL career.

Sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the Soviet Sports Federation patch. Sewn to the shoulders are the Ewald patches. Adidas and Bauer logos adorn the front while the Mega skate adorns the lower verso. The game wear on this size XXL sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns and inner pilling. A terrific Cold War Era gamer whose origins precede the dismantling of the Soviet Union.
