Early 1990ís Igor Kravchuk CCCP Soviet National Team Game Worn Jersey
Lot #27
This red mesh gamer was worn by Igor Kravchuk circa the early 1990’s while representing the Soviet National Team. The Chicago Blackhawks selected Kravchuk in the 4th round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. This Ulfa, USSR native spent the first decade of his career playing in Russia. Igor made his NHL debut in 1991-92 with the Chicago Blackhawks. His 12-year NHL career saw him represent Chicago, Edmonton, St. Louis, Ottawa, Calgary and Florida. On the international stage, Kravchuk represented the USSR in four World Championships, two Canada Cups, two Super Series, the World Cup of Hockey and four Olympics, collecting five Gold Medals during his career.

The game wear on this sweater is on the lighter side with some board burns, board paint transfer and un-repaired burn holes most worthy of mention. This attractive style features sewn on numbers on both the back and sleeves along with stretchy knit tri-color inserts on the sleeves and body. A nice example worn by this two-time Olympic Gold Medal winning defenseman.
