Doug Risebrough Calgary Flames Sher-Wood Game Used Stick Autographed
Lot #504
This Sher-Wood PMP 5030 hockey stick was game used by Doug Risebrough while playing for the Calgary Flames. The Montreal Canadiens selected Risebrough with 7th overall selection in the 1974 NHL Amatuer Draft. Doug joined the powerful Canadiens roster for the 1974-75 season and remained with the team for 8 years. During that span he won 4 Stanley Cups as part of the late 1970’s Canadien’s dynasty. This feisty centerman joined the Calgary Flames in 1982 and played for the Flames for 5 seasons. He played an integral role in helping Calgary to their first ever Stanley Cup Finals in 1986. During Doug’s time in Calgary he served as Team Captain over the course of several seasons, a role he shared with Lanny McDonald and later also with Jim Peplinski. Risebrough ended his career with 1542 PIMS in 740 games and was a 4-time Stanley Cup winner.

This Sher-Wood hockey stick has the player name and number “Risebrough 8” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. Doug has autographed the blade. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
