Donald Audette Montreal Canadiens Game Worn Practice Jersey, Helmet & Pants Originated Directly From Donald Audette
Lot #132
This group of Donald Audette Montreal Canadiens equipment originated directly from Donald Audette. The Buffalo Sabres selected Audette in the 9th round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. This 5’ 8” winger immediately made an impression netting 4 goals and 7 points in his 8 games of play in 1990-91 as a rookie. The 1991-92 seasons saw Audette strike for 31 goals in 63 games, thus earning himself a permanent spot in the Sabres lineup. All told this winger would spend 15 seasons in the NHL. After spending his first 9 seasons in Buffalo, Don went on to represent the Kings and Thrashers before making a brief return to Buffalo. He later suited up for the Stars, Canadiens and Panthers before retiring. Audette played in the 2001 NHL All Star game in a season that saw him tally a career best 32 goals and 71 points.

This red knit practice jersey by Jofa was worn by Donald Audette circa the early 2000’s. Sewn to the right breast is the NHL’s Center Ice logo. This size 56 sweater shows wear in the form of stick and slash marks, board burns, inner pilling and a heavily salted fight strap.

This white hockey helmet by CCM was worn by Donald Audette in the early 2000’s. The helmet has the player number “82” on the back. On both sides are the Canadiens logo. The Itech faceshield is attached on the front.

These blue hockey pants by CCM were worn by Donald Audette. The pants have the Canadiens logo on the front of the right leg. On the back of the same leg is the NHL shield. These pants were originally sold as being worn in the 2001-02 season. Since we cannot find a photo of him wearing them during that season, but we did find a photo of him wearing CCM during an old-timers game, we are calling them old-timers pants.
