This red hockey helmet by Nike/Bauer was game worn by Derek Morris while playing for the Phoenix Coyotes. Morris was selected in the 1st round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames and spent the first 5 years of his career with them. Following 2 seasons in Colorado, Derek joined the Phoenix Coyotes where he spent the next 5 seasons. Short stints followed in Beantown and on Broadway before Derek returned to Phoenix at the deadline in 2009-10. Still playing for the Coyotes in 2011-12, Derek played in his 1000th NHL game.
