These red hockey gloves by Ferland were game worn by David Maley while playing for the New Jersey Devils during the 1989-90 season. After 4 years of College hockey at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and winning the 1983 NCAA Division 1 Hockey Championship, Maley was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2nd round of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. He played parts of 2 seasons in Montreal, winning the Stanley Cup with the Canadiens in 1986 while playing in 7 playoff games that post season. Maley then played 4+ seasons for the Devils, and finished his career with stints in Edmonton, San Jose and New York with the Islanders.
