This Dave Brown hockey stick was acquired with the complete team set from every player on the 1990 Stanley Cup Champion Edmonton Oilers. Our consignor received these sticks personally after a game during that cup-winning season.



This Koho hockey stick was game used by Dave Brown while playing for the Edmonton Oilers during the 1989-90 Stanley Cuo winning season. The Philadelphia Flyers selected Brown in the 7th round of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. This rugged 6’ 5” 210 lb. bruising RW began his NHL career in 1982-83 with the Flyers. He spent parts of 7 seasons in Philadelphia before a deal sent him to the Edmonton Oilers in 1988-89. Dave spent parts of 3 years with the Oilers before returning to Philadelphia in 1991-92, where he played for the next 4 years. Brown spent one final season with the San Jose Sharks before retiring in 1996. During his career, Brown partook in 2 Stanley Cup Finals as a youngster under the guidance of head coach Mike Keenan. He won his only Stanley Cup Championship as a member of the Edmonton Oilers in 1990. Considered one of the NHL’s roughest customers, Brown compiled 1789 PIMS in 729 games played. He compiled another 209 PIMS in 80 playoff contests. The mid 1980’s saw Dave ring up back-to-back seasons of 277 PIMS and 274 PIMS as a member of the Flyers.

This Koho hockey stick has the player name “Brown” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. Dave has autographed the heel. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
