This black & yellow TPS hockey stick has game used by Darren McCarty while playing for either the Detroit Red Wings or Calgary Flames. The Red Wings selected McCarty in the 2nd round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. He began a 15-year NHL career with the Red Wings in 1993-94. Darren would represent the Motor City for 13 of his 15-years of NHL service (the other 2 were spent in Calgary), during which time he appeared in 5 Stanley Cup Finals and walked away victorious 4 times. Always a willing combatant, this grinder averaged about 2 PIMS per game over the course of his career having accumulated 1477 PIMS in 758 regular season games.
This black & yellow TPS stick has the player name and number “McCarty 25” on the side. It is fully taped on the butt and blade. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
