This Craig Muni hockey stick was acquired with the complete team set from every player on the 1990 Stanley Cup Champion Edmonton Oilers. Our consignor received these sticks personally after a game during that cup-winning season.
This Sher-Wood PMP 7000 hockey stick was game used by Craig Muni while playing for the Edmonton Oilers during the 1989-90 Stanley Cup winning season. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Muni in the 2nd round of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. After spending parts of 4 seasons on the Leafs blueline where he struggled for playing time, Glen Sather found a home for this defenseman with the Edmonton Oilers. Muni would spend the next 7 years with the Oilers, where he won 3 Stanley Cups. He would finish his 16-year NHL career with stops in Chicago, Buffalo, Winnipeg, Pittsburgh and Dallas.
This Sher-Wood hockey stick has the player name and number “Muni 28” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. Craig has autographed the heel. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
