Description
Cliff Koroll Chicago Blackhawks Goal Puck Chicago Blackhawks Puck
Lot #876
This Chicago Blackhawks logo puck was used to score a goal by Cliff Koroll on March 25, 1973. After playing his collegiate hockey at the University of Denver, Koroll joined the Chicago Blackhawks in 1969-70, where he remained for the entirety of his NHL career. Cliff played 814 games over 11 NHL seasons in the Windy City and then, after announcing his retirement, spent another 6 years behind the Hawks bench. Koroll had a knack for the clutch goal and 3 times during his career finished top 10 in game-winning goals. This perennial 20-goal scorer netted a career best of 33 in 1972-73, the year this puck was used. These goal pucks were only labeled for 2 seasons in the early 1970s.
