Lot #304
GAMEWORNAUCTIONS.NET is pleased to present The Michel Goulet Collection. This exciting collection of game worn jerseys, game used sticks, game worn equipment and memorabilia come directly from the personal collection of Hockey Hall of Famer, Michel Goulet. Mr. Goulet personally collected and preserved these items over the course of his legendary NHL career. A signed letter from Mr. Goulet will accompany your purchase.

This black hockey helmet by Jofa was game worn by four-time Stanley Cup winner Claude Lemieux while playing for the Colorado Avalanche. The Montreal Canadiens selected Lemieux in the 2nd round of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. In a career that spanned 21 seasons, Claude led three different franchises to 4 Stanley Cup titles and ranks among the all-time elite in playoff scoring. Claude partook in 233 playoff games and scored 158 points while racking up 529 PIMS. Claude also holds the distinction of being one of the leagues most despised players. He was a solid 2-way player that was considered feisty or dirty depending on who you asked. He was awarded with the 1995 Conn Smythe Trophy after leading the New Jersey Devils to their first ever Stanley Cup championship. As a rookie in 1986, Claude was a late season call-up who played the full slate of playoff contests as the Canadiens captured the Stanley Cup. His regular season career totals include 379 goals, 786 points and 1777 PIMS.

This black Jofa helmet has the player number “22” on the back. The Avalanche logo is on both sides and the back left. The NHL shield is on the back right. The helmet shows nice game use. This fresh to the hobby example comes directly from the personal collection of Michel Goulet and will be accompanied by his signed LOA.
