Description
Circa Late 1970s Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds Game Worn Jersey Player #7
Lot #294
This home white knit gamer by Maska was worn by player #7 circa the late 1970’s while skating for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds during OHA play. We have not been able to determine for certain who wore this gamer although we have found evidence that Bill Terry wore number 7 for the Soo during that time period. Terry of course went on to briefly play for the Minnesota North Stars.

The game wear on this size 44 sweater is tremendous and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, trauma, stitch pops, heavy inner pilling and two dozen amazing team-sewn repairs! Many of the repairs are of the material backed variety with swatches of material running as long as 14” in length! A hammered example that accurately tells the story of old-school hockey.
