This home white knit gamer by Bauer was worn by Marty Reasoner circa the 2000 AHL season. The St. Louis Blues selected this Honeoye Falls, NY native with the 14th overall pick in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. This Boston College Alum joined the Blues organization straight out of school and split his time between the Blues and Ice Cats over his first several years as a pro. Marty then joined the Edmonton Oilers where he played for most of the next 6 years, spent time in Boston, Atlanta, Florida and most recently with the New York Islanders.
Sewn to the right and left breasts of this gamer are the sponsorship patches. The alternate Captain’s “A” has been removed and alongside lies a blue sharpie personalized signature in Reasoner’s own hand. The game wear on this size 56 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and fine inner pilling. A nice example from the early part of Reasoner’s professional career.
