Description
Circa 1990 Cam Russell Indianapolis Ice Game Worn Jersey
Lot #418
This road black knit gamer by CCM was worn by Cam Russell circa the 1990 IHL season. The Chicago Blackhawks selected Russell in the 3rd round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with Chicago in 1989-90 and spent parts of 10 seasons with the Hawks before joining Colorado during the 1998-99 campaign, his last as a player. This noted tough guy played in 396 NHL games and accumulated 872 PIMS. After leaving his playing career behind, Cam became the long-time coach of the Halifax Moosehead a position he left in 2010-11.

The game wear and fight abuse on this size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, heavy areas of washed out bloodstains, stitch pops, pulls, heavy pilling, a fight strap that has lost the battle to salt and rust and a handful of team-sewn repairs. On the back player number is a black sharpie signature in Russell’s own hand.
