This green wool sweater is attributed to the USHL's Omaha Knights circa the time period 1945-1951. Sewn into the collar is the size 42 and Dry Clean tags. The team name Knights is sewn single stitched to the front in 2-colored felt lettering. Solid use is evident with stick marks, fine inner pilling and 7 team-sewn repairs. Remarkably, the condition of this vintage wool is outstanding! This historic era in Omaha Knights history featured Hockey Hall of Famers such as Gordie Howe in his only minor league season and coach Tommy Ivan. This lot also includes a pair of Omaha Knights socks.
