Description
Chris Pronger Edmonton Oilers Black Warrior Game Used Stick
Lot #800
This black Warrior hockey stick was game used by future Hall of Famer Chris Pronger. Pronger’s Hall of Fame career began in 1993 when Hartford made him the 2nd overall selection in the NHL Entry Draft. Chris spent 2 seasons on the Whalers blueline before a blockbuster deal sent him to St. Louis in exchange for Brendan Shanahan. Chris spent 9 seasons honing his craft in St. Louis before joining Edmonton for a year. He next spent 3 seasons with Anaheim and most recently was found delivering bone crunching hits for the Philadelphia Flyers before retiring due to concussion.

Pronger’s additions to Edmonton, Anaheim and Philadelphia all saw his teams make it to the Stanley Cup Finals in his first year of service in his new digs, quite a statement. It would then come as no surprise that Pronger has won the Norris Trophy as the NHL’s best defenseman, the Hart Trophy as the NHL’s Most Valuable Player along with a couple of plus/minus awards and the ultimate trophy, the Stanley Cup. Chris is a 4-time 1st or 2nd Team NHL All Star and played in a handful of NHL All Star games. No stranger to the international stage, Pronger represented Team Canada in 4 different Olympics!

This black Warrior hockey stick has the player name “C. Pronger” on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
