The Detroit Red Wings selected Osgood in the 3rd round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. Osgood began his 17-year NHL career with the Red Wings in 1993-94. He spent his first 8 years in the Motor City before a 3-year combined stint in New York and St. Louis. In 2005-06, Chris returned to Detroit and spent the remaining 5 seasons of his career between the pipes for the Red Wings. Osgood has been a part of 3 Stanley Cup titles while in Detroit. He has won 2 William M. Jennings Trophy’s and is a 2nd Team NHL All Star who has partook in 2 NHL All Star games. Perhaps his most impressive achievement is his 400+ Wins, making him one of only 10 men to accomplish the feat in NHL history, and which, combined with his Stanley Cups, could lead to an induction to the HHOF.
