Chris Chelios Detroit Red Wings Silver Easton Game Used Stick Autographed
Lot #831
This silver Easton Synergy hockey stick was game used by Hall of Famer Chris Chelios while playing for the Detroit Red Wings. Chelios began his legendary career as a 2nd round draft choice of the Montreal Canadiens in 1981. He would serve the franchise for seven seasons beginning in 1984-85, during which time he played in 2 Stanley Cup Finals and walked away with one championship in 1986. A trade during the 1990-91 off-season sent Chris to Chicago in exchange for Hall of Famer Denis Savard. He led the Blackhawks for nine seasons, serving as the team’s Captain and leading them to the Stanley Cup Finals in only his 2nd year with the club.
Chelios next joined the Detroit Red Wings where he skated for a decade. During that time he went to 3 more Stanley Cup Finals and walked away victorious twice more.

With his career now officially in the books, we can reflect on just how great it was. He played in 26 seasons, a total of 1651 games in all. During that time he scored 948 points and racked up 2891 PIMS. Add to that another 266 playoff games, 144 playoff points and 423 playoff PIMS.
Chris won 3 James Norris Memorial Trophies, which is awarded to the NHL’s best defenseman. He was 5-times a 1st Team NHL All Star and twice more a 2nd team NHL All Star. Chelios partook in the NHL All Star game a resounding 11 times. Born in Chicago, Chris has been an active participant over the years for Team USA. He was a member of the 1984, 1987 and 1991 Canada Cup teams, the 1996 and 2004 World Cup Teams and of course the United States Olympic Team on 4 occasions! Chris was inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2013.

This silver Easton hockey stick has the player number and name “24 Chelios” on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt. The blade tape has been removed so Chris could autograph it. The blade is still fully intact but does have a crack.
