This black, yellow and white Vaughn goalie blocker & catcher were worn by Byron Dafoe while playing for the Boston Bruins. Dafoe was drafted 35th overall in the 2nd round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals and made his NHL debut for the Caps in the 1992-93 season. In 1995, Dafoe joined the Los Angeles Kings, with whom he stayed for two seasons before being traded to the Boston Bruins in 1997. In 2002, he signed as a free agent with the Atlanta Thrashers. Byron Dafoe retired from professional hockey following the 2004-05 NHL lockout. He was a 2nd team NHL all star in 1999.
The blocker & catcher show nice game use and have "Dafoe" stitched on the side. Above you will find a photo match of a 24 x 18 poster of Byron wearing this exact blocker and catcher in game action. This poster will accompany your purchase.
