This Koho hockey stick was issued for use by Hall of Famer Bryan Trottier while playing for the New York Islanders. The New York Islanders selected Trottier in the 2nd round of the 1974 NHL Amateur Draft. Trottier began his career with the Islanders in 1975-76 and won the Calder Trophy as the Rookie of the Year. It was the beginning of a Hall of Fame career that lasted 15 seasons in New York and another 3 in Pittsburgh. Trottier’s career accomplishments ar numerous and include 524 goals, 901 assists and 1425 regular season points. His playoff scoring totals are no less impressive with 71 goals, 113 assists and 184 points, which also rank him among the all-time elite. To his credit are 4 Stanley Cups with New York and another 2 with Pittsburgh, 8 NHL All Star game appearances and four 1st or 2nd Team NHL All Star selections. He was the 1979 NHL plus/minus award winner, the Bud man of the year winner, the 1989 King Clancy Memorial Trophy recipient, the 1979 Art Ross Trophy winner for leading the NHL in scoring, the Conn Smythe Trophy winner as playoff MVP in 1980 and the 1979 Hart Trophy winner as league MVP. Bryan represented Team NHL in the 1979 Challenge Cup, Team Canada in the 1981 Canada Cup and Team USA in the 1984 Canada Cup. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997.

This Koho stick has the player name “B Trottier” stamped on the side. The stick is un-taped and shows no use. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
