This blue hockey jersey was manufactured by CCM. The New York Islanders selected Trottier in the 2nd round of the 1974 NHL Amateur Draft. Bryan began his NHL career with the Islanders in 1975-76 and won the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s Rookie of the Year on the strength of 32 goals and 63 assists for 95 points in 80 games played. It was an incredible start to a legendary Hall of Fame career. Trotts spent 15 seasons on Long Island and during that time became one of the most dominant two-way players in league history as he led his team to dynasty status with 4 consecutive Stanley Cup titles. Bryan is still the Islanders record holder for games played, assists and points. He also became the fastest player in NHL history to reach 400, 500, 600 and 700 career points, records that were surpassed and are now held by Wayne Gretzky. Furthermore, Bryan was the youngest player to record 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800 and 900 career points, marks also surpassed and now held by Wayne Gretzky.

Following his time with the Islanders, Bryan spent 3 seasons providing veteran leadership to the Pittsburgh Penguins and in the process won another 2 Stanley Cup Rings. Trottier was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, 1997. Trottier’s career accomplishments are numerous and include 524 goals, 901 assists and 1425 regular season points. His playoff scoring totals are no less impressive with 71 goals, 113 assists and 184 points, which also rank him among the all-time elite. In addition to his 6 Stanley Cup titles and the Calder Trophy, Bryan was 4-times a 1st or 2nd Team NHL All Star who played in 9 NHL All Star games. Also to his credit is the 1979 NHL plus/minus award, the Bud man of the year, the 1989 King Clancy Memorial Trophy, the 1979 Art Ross Trophy for leading the NHL in scoring, the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP in 1980 and the 1979 Hart Trophy as the NHL’s MVP. Internationally Bryan represented Team NHL in the 1979 Challenge Cup, Team Canada in the 1981 Canada Cup and Team USA in the 1984 Canada Cup.
