He burst onto the scene in 1979-80 as a member of a Flyers team that set the NHL record going unbeaten in 35 straight games. As a rookie, Propp scored 34 goals and 75 points and helped his club all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals where they lost in a hard fought 6 game series against the New York Islanders. Propp would serve to be one of the Flyers deadliest weapons during his 11 seasons in the City of Brotherly Love. Over the course of a 16-year career, Propp played in 1016 games, scored 425 Goals and 1004 points. He would make 5 trips to the Stanley Cup Finals, net 40-Goals or better on 4 occasions and partake in 5 NHL All Star games. Propp represented team Canada in the 1987 Canada Cup and also played in the World Championships and on the Canadian National Team.
