Brian Propp Minnesota North Stars Gold Easton Game Used Stick – Autographed – The Michel Goulet Collection – Michel Goulet Letter
Lot #318
GAMEWORNAUCTIONS.NET is pleased to present The Michel Goulet Collection. This exciting collection of game worn jerseys, game used sticks, game worn equipment and memorabilia come directly from the personal collection of Hockey Hall of Famer, Michel Goulet. Mr. Goulet personally collected and preserved these items over the course of his legendary NHL career. A signed letter from Mr. Goulet will accompany your purchase.

This gold Easton Aluminum hockey stick was game used by Brian Propp while playing for the Minnesota North Stars. Propp was selected by the Flyers in the 1st round of the 1979 NHL Entry Draft. He burst onto the scene in 1979-80 as a member of a Flyers team that set the NHL record by going unbeaten in 35 straight games. As a rookie, Propp scored 34 goals and 75 points and helped his club all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals where they lost in a hard fought 6 game series against the New York Islanders. Over the course of a 16-year career, Propp played in 1016 games, scored 425 Goals and 1004 points. He would take 5 trips to the Stanley Cup Finals, failing to skate away with that elusive win. Propp partook in 5 NHL All Star games and was 4-times a 40-Goal scorer.

This gold Easton stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. Brian has signed the side “To Michel, Continued Success in your career and after! Best of Luck, Brian Propp #16, #950 Games” We are unsure whether this stick was actually used in Propp’s 950th NHL game. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition. This fresh to the hobby example comes directly from the personal collection of Michel Goulet and will be accompanied by his signed LOA.
