Brian Leetch New York Rangers Red Easton Game Used Stick – Autographed

This red Easton Synergy hockey stick was game used by Hall of Famer Brian Leetch while playing for the New York Rangers. The New York Rangers selected Leetch in the 1st round of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. Leetch played his college hockey at Boston College before joining the Rangers during the 1987-88 season. Brian would spend 17 of his 18 NHL seasons wearing the Rangers colors. During that span he became one of the great defenseman of the modern era, winning 2 Norris Trophies as the NHL’s best defenseman as well as the 1989 Rookie of the Year and most importantly, the 1994 Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP. Leetch helped lead his Rangers to their first Stanley Cup in a couple of generations on the strength of his 11 goals and 23 assists for 34 points in 23 playoff games. Brian has a 100-point season to his credit, scored 20+ goals five times en route to a career total of 247, and is a member of the 1000-point club having ended his career with 1028. Leetch is a 10-time NHL All Star who earned five 1st or 2nd Team NHL All Star honors. Leetch holds numerous Ranger scoring records and had his player number 2 retired to the rafters at MSG in 2008, never to be worn again.

This Easton hockey stick has the player number and name “2 Leetch” on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt. The blade tape has been removed so Brian could autograph it. The stick is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
