Brian Hayward Sharks Game Worn Catcher - Worn In The Sharks First Ever Win - Brian Hayward Letter
Lot #194

This teal, white and black Brian's goalie catcher was worn by Brian Hayward during the San Jose Sharks first ever win on Oct 8, 1991 versus the Calgary Flames. Hayward’s career began with the Winnipeg Jets, where he would play for 4 seasons before a deal in the summer of 1986 sent him packing to Montreal where he would serve as Patrick Roy’s backup for the next 4 seasons. A year in Minnesota followed, which saw the North Stars make a Stanley Cup Finals appearance. The last stop on Brian’s NHL tour was in San Jose with the expansion Sharks where he played for 2 seasons before retiring. Brian shared the William M. Jennings Trophy for fewest goals allowed in the league with Patrick Roy 3 consecutive times spanning 1987-1989.

The catcher shows nice game use and has "Brian Hayward" stitched on the cuff.  This catcher will be accompanied by a letter from Brian Hayward.
