Description
Brent Gretzky Grey Sher-Wood Game Used Stick
Lot #515
This grey Sher-Wood PMP 9530 hockey stick was game used by Brent Gretzky, possibly while playing in the NHL with the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Tampa Bay Lightning selected Gretzky in the 3rd round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. Brent, the younger brother of Wayne, spent a couple of seasons in the NHL as part of a lengthy professional career that spanned 1992-2006 and included stops in addition to the NHL of the IHL, AHL, ECHL and UHL.

This grey Sher-Wood hockey stick has the player name and number “Gretzky 16” stamped on the side. While Brent wore #49 with the Lightning, he wore #16 with the Atlanta Knights the season before he played in the NHL. While we could not find any photos of Brent using this model stick with the Knights, shown above are photos of him using it while playing with the Lightning. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
