This 8x10 B&W photo was autographed by Bob Dailey. This 6’5” defenseman was the tallest player in the NHL until the arrival of Willie Huber. After winning a Memorial Cup with the Toronto Marlboros in the OHA, Bob joined the Canucks for the 1973-74 season and played into his 4th season with the team that drafted him. Bob was traded midway through the 1976-77 season to the Flyers, where he finished his career 5 seasons later. Bob scored double digit Goals 4 times in his brief career from his position on the point, with the career best 21 Goals for the Flyers in 1977-78. Bob was forced into early retirement after shattering his ankle 12 games into the 1981-82 season. Bob played in 2 NHL All Star games. Dailey died after a long battle with cancer in 2016 at the age of 63.
