This CCM Custom Pro hockey stick was game used by Bill Hicke while playing for the Montreal Canadiens. Bill Hicke began his NHL career with the Canadiens for the playoffs in 1958-59, winning the Stanley Cup in his rookie season. He would repeat that feat in 1959-60. All told Hicke played 15 seasons in the NHL with the Canadiens, Rangers, Seals and Penguins. His final year was 1972-73 with the Alberta Oilers of the WHA. In addition to his 2 Stanley Cups, Hicke was also an NHL All Star 3 times. Bill was the older brother of Ernie Hicke. Bill passed away in 2005 at the age of 67.
This CCM hockey stick has the player name and number “Hicke 8” stamped on the side. The stick is fully taped on the butt and blade. It is uncracked and in beautiful condition.
